Valve has quietly sought to rearrange Steam in recent years, although most of the information on the new design of the PC gaming platform has been shrouded in mystery. After all, this is a Valve product, which means that things are much more opaque than in the rest of the industry. However, the creator of the Steam status Pavel Djundik (via Dualshockers) Shared some pictures on Twitter this sounds like what could be the redesign of Steam.

Of Dualshockers:

Pavel Djundik, creator of SteamDB and Steam Status, shared some pictures of what appears to be a potential for a redesign of the Steam Store page. Djundik's images come from a presentation that Valve presented in January of this year.

According to Djundik, an overhaul of Steam is being prepared "for years" at Valve, the images he shared seeming to show a more progressive work aimed at giving the store page a revival compared to previous versions of the platform -form.

In addition to the image of the page itself, the slide that Djundik shared during the presentation shows that the redesign, which highlights a game page for Rainbow Six Siege – would focus on a "rich content display", including screen shots and community illustrations, updates and news, activities and friend programs, and more.

Valve did not give a schedule or confirmation for the redefined Steam Hub. So we can not say when we could see version 2.0 of Steam. Djundik's images tell us that changes are underway, which is good news. Steam needs a facelift for a while, though at least it looks better in 4K these days than before.
