Tomorrow is the big day. You've probably heard all the rumors, but for those who need a little help to get in tune, take a look at the rumor we ran last week. As always, it is important to reduce expectations as much as possible so as not to get carried away by an inevitable disappointment. It's a philosophy that allowed me to reach this distance.
In a spirit of lower expectations, here is a list of the most likely not to be unveiled at the special event of Apple:
- AR helmet: Does Apple work on an AR helmet? Probably yes. Will he arrive tomorrow? Probably not. The company's recent acquisition of Vrvana makes the product almost inevitable, but it will take time to achieve it.
- Beats products: The acquisition of Beats from Apple is generally considered to have been behind the launch of Apple Music. Since then, the headphone manufacturer's products have clearly been a lower priority for the company, and even though the new AirPods seem to be a distinct possibility, do not expect the Beats brand.
- MacOS devices: There is potential here. A long-awaited refresh of the mighty MacBook Air line could be in the works, though I'm not holding my breath here. And while Apple was discussing an updated Mac Pro, with the iMac Pro now available, this update is probably still a failure.
- Apple round watches: Long-term expectations that Apple could switch to a round form factor on its notebook were further fueled when the company sent out an invitation with a large circle. Seconds later, however, everyone realized that the picture probably had more to do with the location of the event in Apple's giant spacecraft – and all the leaks have so far been largely influenced by previous generations.
- iPhone 9: The 10th anniversary of the iPhone has really hurt the fairly simple naming convention of Apple. While it's called "iPhone Echs", it's actually the iPhone 10, and Apple has never had a chance to look back. Although a cheaper version of the iPhone X seems to be in preparation, expect the company to ignore the name of the iPhone 9.
- Inner Peace: No matter what happens tomorrow, we will have to take it back and redo it. No rest for tech bloggers tired – and we die alone. In any case, good day of apples!
