End of death re; Quest coming west in early 2019

Death end re; Quest launched for the first time in Japan in April, arrives to the West for PlayStation 4 both physically and digitally in early 2019, announced the International Idea Factory publisher. It will include English and Japanese voice-overs.

Story

Arata Mizunashi, a video game programmer, receives a notification of an email sent by Shina Ninomiya, one of his colleagues who disappeared there is a year. Together, they worked to create World's Odyssey (W.O.D.), an immersive virtual landscape powered by cutting-edge technology. That is, until Shina's sudden demise stopped production quickly. Arata discovers the surprising revelation that Shina Ninomiya was stuck inside "W.O.D." All the time. When Arata rushes into the lines of code that haunt his abandoned project, he realizes that his game is now ravaged by an infestation of critters, and that Shina is his only active player.

Arata soon learns that a detrimental force prevents Shina from getting out of the game. Her only way out? She must finish the game to unlock the perfect end – a result with a success rate of 1%.
