For Facebook, 2019 apparently can not come fast enough.

A little more than a week since "Routine testing" has put the social networking giant offline for many users, Facebook and Instagram being offline Tuesday morning for many users.

A Facebook developer page seemed to confirm that the company was aware of the problem, as Facebook developer Marissa Hoek said the company "is currently experiencing problems that may result in longer API queries or unexpected failures. We are studying the problem and working on a resolution. "

As often, the #FacebookDown and #InstagramDown hashtags have quickly become news stories on Twitter in the United States. #FacebookDown climbed to the top of the international news page as frustrated users shared their feelings and experiences.

Although Facebook was noticeably slower on Tuesday at around nine, it seems to be working well in New York and Los Angeles, although some in Virginia have reported problems with Instagram.

WhatsApp belonging to Facebook seemed to go well.

The website Down Detector, an independent group that monitors the performance of the website, has shown that Facebook has problems along the east coast of the United States and in most Western European countries.

This month has been tough for Facebook. In addition to breakdowns, the company continues to fight its false new problems removed more than 100 accounts on the eve of the mid-term elections. He is also grappling with a new wave of controversy after an article in the New York Times about how the company's leaders handled the controversy after the 2016 election.

Facebook has not immediately responded to a request from the United States for today to comment on the cause of Tuesday's problems or when the service will be re-posted online.
