The beta version of Fallout 76 is over and at this point, most players will have a clear idea of their willingness to buy the game at launch time. Unfortunately for those who have decided not to keep their pre-orders, a bug in the Bethesda.net launcher prevents players from uninstalling the game.
Fallout 76 had some issues during the beta, many of which were fixed. Unfortunately, this one arose after the fact. Some PCs report not being able to uninstall Fallout 76 through the Fallout 76 Launcher. When attempting to uninstall the game, a message asking users to log in to their Bethesda account appears. If you do not have Fallout 76, a second message will appear: "You do not have access to this game".
Of course, you can simply delete the game via the Program Files folder. Nevertheless, this is another strange bug related to the Bethesda launcher that needs to be fixed. Hopefully those who have still installed the game will be able to recover the space of their hard drive when they launch on November 14th.
