If you can not wait for the beta of Fallout 76, you can get a taste of what the game has to offer with a Fallout 76 mod for Fallout 4. Thanks to a modder with the SKK50 handle, you can find out what Fallout 76 could be in the Commonwealth of Fallout 4 with a mod called Fallout 4-76. It will hide non-playable characters (NPCs), generate random human plaintiffs and allow NPCs to launch nuclear weapons against you. According to SKK50, the default setting of Fallout 4-76 would allow you to run from Vault 111 to Diamond City in less than 10 minutes in real time "minutes without meeting another human, taking a nuclear attack and afflicting on the way."
"I'm delighted that Bethesda brings the Fallout franchise to new audiences, and understands the skepticism of existing single-player fans. This mod is fun to try out some of the game mechanics. If you can not walk on the # 39; s irony, "a message from the bed modder.
This Fallout 76 mod does not depend on any Fallout 4 downloadable content (DLC) and does not change any code or element of the base game. It will not hack everything that already exists in your Fallout 4 backup to avoid compatibility issues. It is available for Fallout 4 on PC (via NexusMods and Bethesda.net) and Xbox One. The PS4 version of Fallout 4 does not get it because of Sony's scripted content restrictions for the Fallout 4 mods.
Previously, it was suggested that Fallout 76 for PC would skip a version of Steam completely. According to the gaming FAQ on the Fallout 76 official website, the beta of Fallout 76 PC will be via Bethesda.net rather than Steam. In addition, there is no list for the game on Steam yet. An anomaly considering Fallout 4 was available for pre-order on the Steam months before the release.
It would not be the first time Bethesda decided against a Steam version for its games. In the past, The Elder Scrolls Legends and Fallout Shelter were not at Steam first. Instead, they were available via Bethesda's own launcher and were put on Steam later.
"The beta will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC (via Bethesda.net) Stay tuned for the exact timing of each platform here and Fallout on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Please note that the beta for Xbox One will start first, followed by other platforms, "reads the Fallout 76 FAQ.
