Tetsuya Nomura, director of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, hinted that Square Enix was planning to revisit other entries in the compilation of Final Fantasy 7, which includes games like Before the Crisis, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus and the Advent Children movie.
Posted by Famitsu (via translations provided by Gematsu), Nomura participated in a Q & A session for The World Ends With You: Final Remix when a fan said, "I want to play again before the crisis: Final Fantasy 7! "
"For the moment, I'm concentrating on Kingdom Hearts III, but when it's over, VII will be my next destination," Nomura replied. "I'm thinking of ideas about the release of the remake." I even talked to the producer. [Yoshinori] Kitase about it today. All of us, alumni, are studying different developments regarding what goes with the remake. As if we could do something about the titles of Compilation. But for the moment, wait for the turn of VII to come.
This comment does not clearly indicate if Square Enix intends to incorporate elements of the compilation of Final Fantasy 7 in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, or if ports, releases or even remakes of these titles could be in store .
