Square Enix has announced that a remastered Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will be released on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in 2019.
A trailer of the game was aired Monday at the PlayStation Lineup Tour, an event preceding the Tokyo Game Show.
Players must fight their enemies and solve puzzles as they move to recover magic fuel for the crystals that protect cities from the dangerous Miasma.
The original version of Crystal Chronicles, which has a score of 80 on Metacritic, was launched on Nintendo GameCube in 2003 and its four-player mode required the use of three Game Boy Advances connected to the console.
The online features of remastered versions will allow easier access to multiplayer features.
This is the second Final Fantasy announcement for Switch in recent days. On Friday, it was revealed that Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition is come on the Nintendo console.
