Call it what you want, one thing you can not call the 2019 A-class sedan is devoid of technology. Benz's entry-level compact car has more assists than Magic Johnson, and some big MBUX baller to go with it. In fact, the highlight of the new A-Class sedan is the addition of the automaker's Mercedes-Benz user interface (MBUX) system, unveiled at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show and launched as # 39; standard equipment of Class A.
MBUX, which will eventually replace the automaker's well-used COMAND system, is announced as a technological breakthrough in infotainment. A noticeable difference from COMAND is that it is a touch screen enabled configuration. On the hardware side, Mercedes has teamed up with Nvidia to use microprocessor GPU technology to improve the usability and speed of MBUX. It also deploys artificial intelligence algorithms to understand the functions you use most and makes them more accessible, and enhanced voice command functions that you can use by saying "Hey Mercedes" (the "Hey Ladies" version). The Class A suspension configuration is also similar to that of the CLA, with a McPherson design at the front and back multi-link, with the exception of the -level entry, the front-drive models on the 17-inch wheels that will come with a lower rear (and lighter) torsion beam. In addition to 17 inches, 18 and 19 inch wheel sets will be available. Dimensionally, width (0.7 inches wider) and height (0.3 inches higher) are similar to CLA. The wheelbases differ slightly more, the 2019 A-Class exceeding the CLA by just over one inch (107.4 vs. 106.3), which should mean a bigger cabin. The largest difference in size is in overall length, because Class A is significantly shorter than CLA (179.1 vs. 182.3 inches) due to its reduced front and rear overhangs

The front end of Class A deploys stronger and more angular headlight sets, and a much deeper and wider lower fascia, enhanced with similarly indented lateral air intakes. The A-pillar has been slightly adjusted, the mirrors have been moved to the waistline and the profile lines appear more rounded. At the rear, the widening keys include a two-piece taillight design, a deeper lip spoiler, and horizontal reflectors flanking the rear. This is a clever update to our eyes, which does not detract from the greenhouse or general style theme that has helped make CLA a success here in the United States
Inside is the only one in the world. where the big changes -Class and CLA, starting with the digital screens that dominate the procedures and allowed the designers to create cleaner dash lines without the need to incorporate a cover for a dashboard traditional. The COMAND button mashup gives way to a clean and wide line of essential climate control buttons and the like, and the new steering wheel has dramatically updated controls.
