First preview of Razer's Xbox Mouse and Keyboard

[ad_1]

Rumors of a partnership between Microsoft and Razer had been circulating for some time and, in September, we had reported that an Xbox One mouse and keyboard layout was on the horizon. This was confirmed at X018, when the firm unveiled its "Xbox-designed" mouse and keyboard, with features such as a dedicated Xbox button and "Xbox Dynamic Lighting".

Aside from a flashy trailer with previews of the mouse and keyboard, Razer has not provided any other details. We only knew that more information would be announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2019) next year. Although we still do not know how much this legendary mouse and keyboard will cost, we are now taking a closer look at the device on Razer's website.

You can clearly see the Xbox button at the bottom right, where the "Control" button should be. The Xbox Dynamic Lighting is also on display and seems to rely on Razer's "Chroma" technology, which provides similar features on the company's keyboards. In sum, it is a magnificent device, reinforced by its mechanical keys. Hope this will not be too heavy and that the battery life will be strong.

Many game developers have rented support for the Xbox One mouse and keyboard. Epic Games explained in detail how Fortnite is one of the first titles to offer keyboard and mouse input alongside Warframe, previously announced. However, the bomber crew, Deep Rock Galactic, Strange Brigade, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, War Thunder and X-Morph Defense will also add their support in November. Developers working on the children of Morta, DayZ, Minion Master, Moonlighter, Vigor, Warface and Wargroove have promised to support the mouse and keyboard in the future.
