Ford has announced that the popularity of the Ford GT has increased to 350 units. The production run for the Ford GT will now total 1,350 units over a period of six years. Ford is opening its final application for global markets on November 8.

This will be the second time that Ford has re-opened the application process for the GT. All applicants must apply their original application or confirm their application to the final application window for the car. Applications will be accepted for 20 days starting on November 8 at FordGT.com.

"The response to our Ford GT has been unprecedented," said Hermann Salenbauch, Ford Performance Director. "By extending the Ford GT production run for a limited period, we are able to maintain the exclusivity of the ultra-desirable supercar while offering the ownership experience to a greater number of customers."

Applicants chosen to spend their $ 450,000 + on the Ford GT will work with the Ford GT Concierge Service to personalize their cars to be produced in 2020 to 2022 calendar years. Production of the Ford GT started in 2016.

The car has a twin-turbo 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine making 647hp. It can run to a speed of 216 mph and looks very good doing it. Ford says that it's been before the Ford GT gained LeMans glory in 2016.
