In addition to the current challenges at Fortnitemares, the Fortnite: Battle Royale players have reached the sixth week of Season 6. Thursday's weekly reset means creating a whole new set of weekly challenges. Meeting weekly challenges is crucial to winning Battle Stars and increasing your pass level, which will allow you to win cosmetic items. As always, the challenges are divided into two levels. The free section, accessible to all, allows you to place the Chillers in different matches, search for a chest in different named places and get three shotgun eliminations.
Top-level challenges available only to Battle Pass holders also give stars. You can get rewards for landing at Shifty Shafts, dealing picking damage, finding scores, and eliminating with a regular weapon. The challenges of landing, partitioning and elimination are multi-step quests. You will have other challenges once the first phase is over.

Free
- Chillers Square in different matches (3) – 5 battle stars
- Look for a chest in different named places (7) – 5 battle stars
- Rifle Eliminations (3) – 10 Battle Stars
Battle Pass
- Land at Unstable Sinks (Part 1 of 5) – 1 Battle Star
- Inflict damage with a pickaxe for your opponents (250) – 5 battle stars
- Find Partitions in Pleasant Park (Part 1 of 4) – 2 Battle Stars (10 total)
- Common weapon elimination (part 1 of 5) – 2 battle stars (10 total)
If you complete these and want even more challenges, you can also participate in the Fortnitemares event. Although apparently related to Halloween, it still lasts a few days. You can take on special challenges from Fortnitemares to win the skin and other Outlander cosmetics. Outlander and some others are part of a new type of responsive cosmetic that changes depending on the performance of your match.
