The Fortnite Halloween event starts tomorrow and Epic has put players on notice of the timeouts. The downtime of the 6.20 update will begin Oct. 24 at 4 pm, time of 1 pm After the time has stopped, the special event "Fortnitemares" will begin.
Epic has teased the fact that the Fortnitemares event will give "spooky rewards" for the achievement of special challenges. An announcement about the Save the World mode also mentioned the challenges of Fortnitemares. It is therefore likely that these bonus missions and rewards will go to both free and paid PvP modes. You can also earn some skins by simply logging on to Save the World during the event.
Epic has not announced exactly what these spooky rewards are, but a series of teasing on Twitter seems to show a skin that fits like a puzzle. This is probably at least one of the rewards you can earn. Fortnitemares will last until Monday, November 26, which may give us an idea of the timing of season 7.
We do not know anything that the 6.20 update will do, but an element of it has been revealed. Epic plans to test the changes made to the glider of the game to allow you to redeploy during a match, provided you are high enough in the air. This change will be active for a week, after which it will be disabled – although it may be activated permanently in the future.
This season, season 6, was marked by the theme "Darkness Rises". As such, many of his skins and cosmetics are quite scary, like Dire Wolf's skin that becomes more like that of a werewolf as you progress. Now we can finally see that some of the Halloween skins that have leaked become available. For more Halloween events, check out our Halloween skyline tour.
