As part of Fortnitemare, the new Halloween-themed event on Fortnite Island, players face new challenges. Unlike weekly challenges, completing them will not unlock Battle Stars to allow you to even your battle. Instead, you will get experience points and specific rewards, such as an emoticon, a spray, a contrail and a glider. However, Epic launches new challenges every other day, and to get that glider, you have to pick them all up.
The first game is available now and you can get the details here. There are four challenges in total, and even if three of them are fairly simple, a specific challenge will require considerable work. This challenge requires you to dance in front of five different gargoyles. The problem is that these are spread all over the island, so you risk losing your time running into dead ends. - Viking Village: Meet inside the big building at the top of the hill.
- North of Flush Factor at the top of the mountain
- To the west of Lazy Links in the mine that has the shape of an umbrella
- Haunted Hills inside the Gothic Castle, in the main hall
- Between woods lamentations and risky reels on the hill
Fortnitemare has also introduced a new kind of cool skin that reacts to the way you play the game. If you have not checked it yet, you can see the Outlander Outfit and find out more about it here. In addition to this skin, Epic also introduced the Shackled Stone Back Bling and the Dark Shard Pickaxe. These two items are also called "reactive cosmetics". Deadfire skin is available for 2,000 V-Bucks, while the Dark Shard Harvest Tool costs 1,200 V-Bucks.
Fortnitemare was introduced in the Fortnite 6.20 update, which also includes a new weapon: the Six Shooter. Epic is also testing the possibility of redeploying gliders after landing. So you can do it in the different game modes of Battle Royale.
