The iOS version of Fortnite was a resounding success, with Battle Royale winning $ 300 million in 200 days, according to Sensor Tower market analyst since its launch on Apple smartphones and tablets on March 15.

Fortnite is also available on all three major home gaming consoles (the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch) and the PC, and the royal battle mode in free-play has turned the game into a global sensation. His season pass pattern, which allows players to spend real money on a progression system allowing access to more beauty items during their reading, has enabled Fortnite to become a machine to win. Season 6 was launched on September 27 and the iOS version reported $ 20 million just in the week following its launch.

The roadmap is clear: create a game that attracts players and install it on all devices capable of running it. It may seem simple, but Fortnite's success is remarkable because it's really the first video game to have accomplished this, with perhaps a nod to Tetris.

For comparison, the well-known mobile hit Clash Royale earned $ 228 million in its first 200 days on iOS. And this figure excludes revenue from China (Fortnite iOS is not available in China).

About 65% of this $ 300 million comes from the United States. Meanwhile, the Android version of Fortnite, marketed since August 9 only, has returned more than $ 60 million.

Fortnite iOS is also ahead of PUBG Mobile. PUBG is the next most popular royal battle game. Its iOS version has earned $ 47 million since its launch on March 19.
