Fortnite Playground LTM is now in line with these changes

Fortnite's Playground mode returns to the Battle Royale game on July 25, and now the developer Epic Games has detailed everything new since the last time we've seen it. [ Update: Limited time mode is now live on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Mobile. Read on to see how it differs from the previous instance of the MTL.]

There are many, many changes, one of which is that players can now change team to mid-game. The idea is that you can swap sides to work with your friends on strategies and then move on to hone your fighting skills. Voice chat is enabled for all teams, but Epic plans to add "personalization" options in the future.

Another novelty for this second version of Playground: as promised, there is more loot; 100 supply declines were added, while rocket ammunition drop rates are increased. In addition, golf carts are now in the playing field, while you can reach the ground faster after falling in because the forced glider deployment height is now lower. In addition, ammunition and building materials are now much more abundant, while the time of reappearance is much lower.

These are just a small sample of the changes. You can see the full patch notes below.

While you wait for Playground to return to Fortnite, the game's first birthday event is taking place now and adding birthday cakes to the island. You can also win special cosmetics by completing challenges and quests. You can check out our Fortnite 1st Anniversary Challenge Guide for more information on this subject.
