Fortnite Season 5 has begun and with it comes the first set of challenges for players to undertake. This time, however, things will work a little differently. The challenges are divided into two sections for Season 5: Free and Battle Pass. The first is composed of three challenges, while those who buy the Battle Pass will have access to seven in total – including the one that asks you to follow the treasure map found in Risky Reels . Here's where to find that, and complete all the rest.
The hunt for treasure cards is easily the most delicate of the band. Fortunately for you, we have done it and can guide you through. As for instances of this challenge last season, you can explore Risky Reels to locate the treasure map, or you can simply go to where the treasure is – if you know where to go. To find the treasure, head to the tunnel south of Tomato Town then climb to the top of the north entrance to find the Battle Pass icon. Take a look at the pictures below to see how it's done.
For most, the first week of challenges for the new season should not be too complicated. In the free section, it's about doing damage and eliminating opponents using weapons like SMG, Stink Bomb and Pomegranate. In addition to that, you will need to look for a lama of supplies – all things pretty simple, provided you have the skills to pay the bills.
Apart from the treasure map, the Battle Pass section becomes a bit more complicated as you will have to do some explorations. In order to complete these challenges, you will need to go to Snobby Shores and look for seven chests, which you should be able to spot easily, provided you spend enough time there. On top of that, you'll have to search seven floating Lightning Bolts and shoot down three opponents in Retail Row. Lightning can be collected as a battle star, but you will need to climb them to put them in your hands.
