Fortnite Save the World had some tough weeks of performance, but that did not stop players from asking key questions about the future of the game.
We already know that STW will not be available on mobile phones or the Nintendo switch.
Fortunately, Epic Games has recently reaffirmed its commitment to developing the game until it is complete, rather than giving up to focus solely on Battle Royale.
But that still does not answer the question of when will Fortnite Save the World be free to play?
The search for a free code for the game is always high, depending on the operation of the V-Buck system in the game.
But the idea that new players join V-Bucks just for the farm is not what current players want.
It will certainly be interesting to learn that Epic Games announces the release of Save the World as a free game.
This is still expected to occur in 2018 and will mean that it occurs during Season 6.
The new season 6 will run until the end of the year and will offer Epic Games the next chance to launch STW as F2P.
At the moment, it seems that the community is a bit cautious in this respect, because it will bring both the benefits of fresh blood and the problems that arise from it.
And from what Epic Games shared at the beginning of season 6, the F2P revolution will not start next week.
That's when season 6 begins and includes a new event to be launched in Save the World.
The big update of F2P was not mentioned, but a lot of information was provided at the beginning of the season.
Fortnite Update 6.0 will be launched on Thursday, September 27th.
Here is the latest information on what will be included in this patch, the development team confirming: "In v6.0 (Thursday 9/27), we will present a mini-event called" Cram Session ".
"This event will not have any lamas or special tickets and will focus on gathering resources to prepare for upcoming events.
"During the Cram session, you'll get increased rewards by completing Miniboss Mission Alerts (returning 10 alerts for this event), which will double the usual amounts of XP, Evolution Materials, and Perk Materials." .
"Complete the four lines of quests. These quests each include ten steps that provide significant point rewards in the end. (Hero / Scheme / Survivor XP, Evolution Materials or Gold).
Epic Games has also confirmed that fans can win more slot machines and a free Llama by activating 2FA on their account.
Rewards for adding two-form authentication to your account include:
- 50 slots of armor
- 10 backpacking slots
- 1 legendary Troll Stash Llama
Epic Games has also promised to take Save the World F2P in 2018, but still needs to provide a plan to know when they intend to do so.
The original Fortnite mode has been announced to follow in the footsteps of Battle Royale by adopting the F2P this year, and the latest one is on the Epic Games official website.
However, time is running out for the development team to start planning and let the community plan what will follow.
