New Epic Games skins were launched today as part of one of the latest releases of Season 5.
While there are no new challenges this week, fans can still enjoy the latest creations from the Fortnite development team.
These include clown outfits looking very scary, with head pieces and strange vibrations.
The games have the next 24 hours to download and retrieve the new Battle Royale cosmetics, with a new update of the store scheduled for September 24th.
New waves of Season 5 outfits and items have appeared in recent weeks, the latest providing a prelude to Halloween.
There is no sign of blood and guts, just the usual unsettling thing you get when you are confronted with clown skins on top.
The new Nite Nite and Peekaboo outfits can be found in the Fortnite store and come with the same V-Bucks price tags.
Unlike past weekends, these new Fortnite items are only available at a rarity level, with no Legendary items.
Last week saw the launch of the legendary Hot Ride Glider, a flying car that would bring you about 1,500 V-Bucks to buy.
Meanwhile, the two new skins available today have already been released along with a bunch of other Season 5 designs, a practice that has become common in 2018.
And it looks like the Nite Nite and Peekaboo skins will be among the last major outings of Season 5.
The release date of Fortnite season 6 has been set for next week and will include its own line of articles and themes.
But that does not mean that some of the best skins in Season 5 will not be back.
One of the first new models made available in the item shop during Season 5 was the Viking Magnus skin.
This was followed by the legendary Chomp Snr skin, as well as many unique Ax hat models from Epic Games.
Because of its ranking in the highest rarity category, the Chomp Snr and Magnus outfits each cost 2,000 V-Bucks.
However, Nite Nite and Peekaboo skins both have Epic rank, which means they will cost $ 1,500 each.
But while the new outfits will surely prove popular with those hoping to stock equipment from the new season 5, other items might be even more sought after.
This is because fans can also upgrade the Battle Pass Tier version, which gives players a boost when it comes to their own collection.
If you run out of time and do not think you can unlock everything since season 5, you can still spend an extra 900 V-Buck to unlock 10 levels of combat passes.
It's hard to know if Epic Games has other plans to launch new skins before the start of Season 6.
There are always chances that Epic Games is looking to offer a few more items, although it is more likely that some older models will come back.
As the development team notes when selling cosmetics, this new equipment will not provide any type of bonus in a Battle Royale game.
They are purely aesthetic, so fans should not worry about spending money on Fortnite unless they want to win or buy new equipment for their character.
Level 100 items will be the ones everyone will want to get their hands on, even if it will take some dedication to completing weekly challenges.
The challenges are divided into difficult and regular difficulty levels.
The Difficult Difficulty Fortnite challenges net ten Battle Stars players, while regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.
