Fortnite Update 6.21 DELAYED: Epic Games confirms "Issue" with Battle Royale patch of today (Pic: Epic Games)
FORTNITE 6.21 UPDATE:
Last night, Epic Games announced the release time of the new Fortnite update, as well as details on server downtime.
It was expected that this would happen today, Wednesday, October 24 2018 at 4am HE / 8h GMT.
However, this update has now been delayed, although the reason for the moment is not entirely clear.
A second update of the team on Twitter reads as follows:
"Due to a last-minute issue discovered in v6.21, we delayed posting to Thursday, November 1."
We may have more information later today, but for the moment, know that the new fix today has been postponed for one day.

The reason the game has further delayed the next update is not entirely clear, but it is possible that this has something to do with the ongoing Fortnitemares event.
The new Halloween themed event still has a series of challenges to publish and it is plausible that Epic is waiting to publish it before the next update of the games.

Balloons seem to allow players to float over the battlefield. Which, when combined with the new glider feature, could make jump pads virtually useless (which they are already to a certain extent).
