The best Fortnite Players excel in mobility, building structures and fast dodging to avoid being hit by enemy fire, but this strategy does not suit everyone. If you prefer to let your traps do some of the work, the latest game update has something for you.
Introduced in Update 6.30, the mounted turret is a legendary trap that can be placed on floors and is equipped with unlimited ammo. The update also introduces the limited-time Food Fight mode, pitting the Durrr Burger team against the Pizza Pit team in a battle to the death. You must defeat the mascot of the enemy team to win and your team must work together to build a fort to protect yours. During the first few minutes, you will not be able to reach the mascot of the other team because a barrier will be raised and the supplies will give you the equipment and weapons you need to start.

Food Fight is activated in Food Fight – you will do it every seven seconds – and you will keep your inventory when you die. The default game modes will no longer include the glider redeployment feature after 6.30, but this feature will still be included in the large team modes.
