Fortnite v6.20 Fortnitemares Patch Notes and Challenges

There are a lot of different Fortnites. Dubbed "Fortnitemares," This is the second event is bringing a new element to the battle of Fortnite. This new event is also introducing the Six Shooter and Fiend Hunter Crossbow.

Fortnitemares is full of new challenges for players to complete, which will reward them with a unique loot such as the Dark Engine Glider. There have been no major changes made to any weapon outside a small buff to Hand Cannons. Playground also got a special pirate ship mini-game and firing range to test your skills at.

Here are the first set of Fortnitemare Challenges:

• Destroy Cube Monsters
• Deal damage with Assault Gold Rifles Pistols to Cube Monsters
• Visit Corrupted Area in different matches
• Dance at different Gargoyles

SOCIAL

The Social List has been completely redesigned. This is the first of many steps towards improving the social experience within Fortnite. Expect more frequent updates and improvements to this experience.

• The main Social List has received new art, animations, and flow.
• The Social List button has moved to the left side of the screen.
• Controller and Touch support has been improved.
• Party Finder has been removed
  • All previous Party Finder functionality has moved to the new Social List.
  • Places that used to open Party Finder now open the new Social List.

KNOWN ISSUES

• The Fortnitemares Cinematic Video will be playing on the Nintendo Switch platform.
