Fortnite'Monster-fueled' Fortnitemares' is coming to an end this weekend, and it looks like it will end with a bang. Developer Epic Games announced today that the Halloween event will end on Sunday, and that one-time-only event will happen in-game that day at 1PM ET. "Login early and be in-match to witness the one-time event," the developer tweeted.
"Fortnitemares" kicked off last week, and it represents a dramatic change for the game, with the production of zombie-like monsters. (They're definitely not zombies, though.) It's a great example of just how much the battle can change.
Fortnitemares in Battle Royale ends on Sunday, November 4 at 1pm ET / 6pm UTC. Finish your Fortnitemares Challenges by then to unlock the Dark Engine Glider. Early login and be in-game to witness the one-time event which starts at 1pm ET / 6pm UTC. pic.twitter.com/6lBVC4REyS

This is not the first time Epic has had one-time events in the game. Back in June, a long-anticipated rocket launch took place Fortnite, leading to a dramatic rift in the sky. It also showed how Fortnite is able to tell its own unique stories with a traditional narrative and how can it compete with its ambitions.
We're not quite sure what to expect from Sunday's big event Fortnite'Ll be experiencing live.
