On the occasion of the July 4th celebrations, Epic Games released a new emote for Fortnite. As with most Fortnite emotes, it's a simple and charming little animation that makes your character light up a sparkling wine, shakes it a little bit, then throws it aside.

In related news, Fortnite: Battle Royale has been updated with the LTM Playground (limited time mode). Although the mode was initially launched on June 28th, it was disconnected after the occurrence of server problems. A week of testing and bug fixes later and Epic made Playground LTM available again on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Mobile.
Playground is designed to be a "low pressure environment" similar to a private server. It allows players to explore the map and go out with up to three friends without risk of being eliminated by other people. This is a good place to check weapons, practice and refine strategies.
An update to Fortnite (version 4.5) also added some new weapons to the Save the World and Battle Royale modes. Perhaps the most notable of them is the Drum Gun for Battle Royale mode, which is described as a "hybrid weapon that combines the power of stopping a rifle with the ability to suppress and the fire rate of a SMG. In addition to that, there is the Stink Bomb and Stars and Stripes Heroes. You can read more about the new Fortnite update and see the full release notes here.
