Fujifilm GFX 50R Medium Camera Announcement

[ad_1]

A few years ago, Fujifilm announced and launched its first mid-size camera in the form of the GFX 50S. Recently, we have heard rumors that the company may have a new model underway, and it turns out that the rumors were true while Fujifilm had officially announced the GFX 50R.

Now, thinking of the GFX 50R as a successor would not be exactly correct, in fact, as you can see in the photo, the GFX 50R is very different from the 50S. In fact, the camera seems to emit a sort of X-Pro type atmosphere, which is actually what Fujifilm was aiming for. The company says the 50R was designed for photographers wanting a lighter, more compact version of the 50S, which also works like a conventional camera in a telemetry style, which is exactly what the company has offered.

The 50R will feature a 51.4-megapixel G-size sensor and will feature an X-Processor Pro image processing engine. There is also a built-in EVF, Bluetooth capabilities that allow wireless photo transfer, touch screen, ISO range from 100 to 12,800, shooting speeds of 3 frames per second (a bit low), 108p at 30fps.

In terms of price, the 50R is priced at $ 4,500, which is by no means cheap, but it is cheaper than the 50s of over $ 1,000. It is also planned for an end of November.
