Are you Mountain Mommas ready to see the complete map that Fallout 76 has to offer? Four times bigger than that of Fallout 4, The upcoming online adventure presents the beautiful landscape of beautiful West Virginia – with an irradiated touch:
We've had a glimpse of it thanks to a previous game, including ours, but it's the complete map in all its splendor. We talked about the quick moves that will be available in the game and this map shows all the different waypoints and district lines that players will use to cross these country roads.
What we do not here are the other chests that Bethesda teased us earlier this month. We recently met with the development team to talk about the upcoming game after 3 hours of play. We were asked if there was another safe that players could discover when exploring West Virginia. Their answer "no" was revealing, but not for what they said, but how they said it.
They told us "yes, technically" laughing together. "There are technically other safes, but you will not be able to access them, they are locked and for a reason."
Our theory is that these storage locations will be essential in future content updates. Pete Hines, from Bethesda, explained how he wanted to support this game "until the end of time" and what better way to do this than to ensure constant rotation of new content for the pleasure of players?
New events, extensions, and regular downloadable content would be a phenomenal way to keep players engaged. Why create the creation of these other vaults if they will not be available one day or the other?
Whatever their plans for these mysterious vaults, we can at least marvel at this glorious map and know that it will soon be explorable for everyone next month.
