Samsung has already explained that it is preparing new smartphones incorporating different types of cutouts and screen notches. It seems that the very first Samsung phone with a notch will be the Galaxy M2.

The Samsung Galaxy M2 would be the only budget offer of Samsung in 2019. It was announced in September that Samsung was planning to kill its Galaxy J series, while the Galaxy A series would be the main target of the mid-day. segment of range. The hole left by the Galaxy J series will be filled by the new Galaxy M series, which will start with the release of the Galaxy M2 next year.

The Galaxy M2 is also important for Samsung because it is considered the first Android smartphone of the company to offer a notch. Phone Arena has created two renderings showing what the Galaxy M2's notch will look like with the Infinity U design. The notch looks like the one found on the Essential phone, but it seems to be smaller. The site said it still did not know if Samsung would use the Infinity U or Infinity V, but it created the rendering to give everyone an idea of what it might look like. The Infinity V has almost exactly the same appearance as the Infinity U, but its notch has a sharper "v" shape.

Samsung has actively avoided putting a notch on its phones over the past year, but the company has now changed its tone. This may not be good news for users who are not fans of notches on smartphone screens, but this allows Samsung to offer smartphones very close to reality on all screens.

The Samsung Galaxy M2 is supposed to have a 2340 x 1080 screen with a 19: 9 screen size. Inside, the device is powered by the Exynos 7885 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It also has a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel selfie camera. On the software side, the device seems to be running Android 8.1 Oreo right now. Information on the specifications of the Galaxy M2 has been revealed in a recently released reference by AnTuTu for a Samsung device bearing the model number SM-M205F, according to GSM Arena.

The Infinity U or the Infinity V can be aimed at the Galaxy M2, but the Infinity O screen could debut with the Galaxy A8. The Infinity O screen has a circular cutout in the upper left corner of the screen and houses the front camera. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A8 in early 2019, just before the official announcement of the new Galaxy S10 range. The Galaxy S10 should also adopt the Infinity O screen.
