Apparently, the Galaxy Note 9 comes with a new S Pen, one that is advanced beyond the latest smartphone generations. It's not 100% clear what will happen here, but we did have some conversations with insiders (who will remain anonymous) who gave us some clues as to the nature of this upgrade. We are pretty confident now that this new S Pen in the Galaxy Note 9 will have its own battery, and that it will be loaded while being anchored in the note.
We have discussed the interior of the S Pen in the Galaxy Note 8 and have come to the conclusion that it is very small. Based on what we know from the inside of another slightly larger smart stylus called Apple Pencil, the tiny size of the standard S Pen could not make the cut. This little S Pen will not make the cut for the internal components included in the Apple Pencil as they are today, anyway.
But when we take a look at the first major renderings of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 of OnLeaks, we see something very interesting. In addition, confirming the claims of our tipster, it seems that this new Note 9 has a S Pen slightly more adjusted. The shape of the crown is more rectangular, and less space is wasted around its edges when it is moored.
An internal battery suggests that there is something to keep in this new S Pen. In the Galaxy Note 8 and all previous Samsung Note devices, the S Pen uses electromagnetic resonance (EMR) technology. This technology worked with what each Galaxy Note device had in the form of a digitizer under its screen so that the pen's work was natural and first-rate.
Now, the Galaxy Note 9 could be the first to use Bluetooth connectivity. We know that the approximate size of the internal components of the Apple Pencil (minus the battery) MAY be compressing their tiny butts into a slightly enlarged S Pen Pen. Maybe if Samsung has found a way to make this board even smaller?
The photos of the logic board come from the dismantling of the Apple pencil at iFixit. PhoneArena stylus layout for approximate size.
With a slightly enlarged S Pen using this tiny space in the Galaxy Note 9's body, there may be room for some magical features. Or maybe the Galaxy Note 9 will not end with different Pen S features and it will be an airplane crash. Who knows?!
If you have a look at the Galaxy Note 9 VS the iPhone X Plus 6.5 inches as made by Venya Geskin, you'll see why Samsung might need to make this new note as spectacular as possible. This is not a good time to relax! Take a look at our list of things to do with the Galaxy S10 article to combat iPhone X Plus to see what's going on this coming end of winter!
Above, you'll see a set of likely specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 next to the final specification and confirmed for the Galaxy Note 8. Does this look like the kind of upgrade you would be?
