Samsung will launch three versions of the Galaxy S10 next year, including a Plus model that will feature five cameras: three in the back and two in the front. We have a new leak that reveals the specifications of all the digital cameras that Samsung will use on the Galaxy S10 +.
The report comes from an unknown Twitter user from previous leaks:
We do not know where the above specifications come from, but SamMobile note that this is the second time that the same camera configuration is associated with the Galaxy S10.
According to the table above, the Galaxy S10 will have the same main sensor as the Galaxy S9. This is a 12-megapixel lens with f1.5 / f2.4 variable aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Two additional cameras frame the main sensor: a 16-megapixel sensor with an aperture of 1.9 and a 123-degree field of view and a 13-megapixel sensor with an aperture of 2.4, OIS and a field of view of 45 degrees. The wide angle lens will lack support for OIS and auto focus.
In addition to the Galaxy S10 + that will thrill this three-lens camera setup, Samsung is expected to abandon two other versions of the Galaxy S10, which will feature dual-lens and single-lens cameras at the rear.
The Galaxy S10 series is expected to be unveiled at CES 2019 in January or at the MWC a month later. Samsung has ample time to change the camera specifications mentioned above. Although Samsung does not confirm these leaks before the arrival of the Galaxy S10, it is likely that the Galaxy S10 + model will have a triple camera in the back. After all, Samsung has just unveiled a mid-range phone with a triple-lens camera.
