The sudden popularity of the Galaxy Note 9 could be short-lived. Samsung is expected to launch its phablet early to offset the weak sales of the Galaxy S9. However, it seems that this may have another reason to do it: give it enough time on the market before it is put aside. A new rumor has emerged that reveals Samsung's timing early in the year 2019 and it seems that even the Galaxy S10 is likely to be overshadowed by the Galaxy X.
The Galaxy Note 9 would have been a new incremental update of the news of his S Pen. This stylus will apparently come with Bluetooth capabilities, allowing users to use the button as a single button remote. Launched in August, the Galaxy Note 9 will be at least four months before Samsung's next big deal begins.
This, according to the prolific Ice Universe leak source, is the Galaxy X. The long-awaited collapsible phone, though it's indeed that, is going to be revealed in January at CES 2019. Given the novelty, it can be presented as a prototype. This does not mean that Samsung will sell it en masse and when it could do it.
It may not be, at least not immediately, if the second part of the leak is correct. Samsung could postpone sales of Galaxy X, if it will sell it at all, to give way to the Galaxy S10 that will be announced at MWC 2019. That would be Samsung's birthday model S, although the "X" in Galaxy X the almost lets me hear I'll do an Apple next year.
Of course, it's pretty much a guess at this point. The Galaxy S10 is, of course, expected between CES and MWC anyway, although the expected arrival of the Galaxy X has pushed it to the next date. According to rumors, Samsung 's collapsible smartphone is expected to begin production in the last quarter of the year, which would give some credence to this scenario.
