GameStop’s Deals On PS4, Xbox One, Switch Games And Hardware (US Only)

Deal-hunters are in for a treat between now and the end of November, because a hurricane of sales is about to make landfall. Right now you can find a handful of regular weekly video game sales from the usual outlets (Best Buy, PlayStation Store, etc.). But like leaves in the wind, this week’s sales will flutter into next week’s early Black Friday discounts, which will billow into official Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales–and that’s where we’ll leave this over-extended metaphor.

In any case, GameStop has released this week’s ad with regular non-Black Friday deals that will run November 14-20. It’s worth noting that GameStop’s Black Friday event starts November 18, featuring some excellent discounts on Xbox One and PS4 consoles and exclusive games, so before making any purchases, check that (and the rest of our Black Friday coverage) to make sure a better deal isn’t around the corner.

With that out of the way, let’s see what deals are available today at GameStop. If you’re deliberating where to buy Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee, GameStop is offering an exclusive double-sided poster to tip the scales in its favor. Speaking of Pokemon, you can stop by any GameStop to get a free Legendary Pokemon for Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, or Ultra Moon, with no purchase necessary.

If you trade in one of these select games, you’ll pay $20 for less for any new game or pre-order. Discounted games are few and far between at the moment, but you can get Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Grand Theft Auto V, or LA Noire for $20 each. If you’re a Switch owner in the mood for a Metroidvania, you can grab Axiom Verge: Multiverse Edition for $24.

It seems that GameStop, like most other retailers, is saving its big discounts for next week. With that in mind, it’s a good idea to spend this week researching Black Friday discounts and finding the best deals on the games you want to buy. Thankfully, with our comprehensive list of Black Friday video game deals, we’ve made it easy to do just that.
