Red Dead Redemption 2 arrive at the end of the week, and if you're anything like me, it's a great reason to party. However, if you really can not wait a second longer than necessary, we have the scoop for you. Target has an agreement to release Red Dead Redemption 2 a little early so you do not have to stay up until midnight to buy your copy.
As shown in the image above of this week's target ad, the standard version and the special edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be on sale at 9 pm local time on Thursday, November 25th. It's three full hours earlier than anywhere else! It should be noted that the PS4 Pro kit which includes Red Dead Redemption 2 is also available, but the announcement does not specify if this set will be available sooner.
As a bonus, at the purchase of your copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 from Target, all sold copies come with a free pin-game inspired by the game. One of the pins is the textual logo of the game and the other two are different versions of the Rockstar logo. These are available until stocks are exhausted and are packaged separately. You may need to ask if there is any left over when buying your copy.
For those on the east coast, this is the very first opportunity you'll have to play Red Dead Redemption 2. For those on the west coast, these physical copies will be available at the same time as the digital copies unlock on PS4. Assuming you have preloaded your copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 on your PS4, this is the first time that players on the west coast can start playing.
