Mode is available for all levels of difficulty and will be available for free for everyone, although holders of a 2nd Year Pass will get the first crack. You will have to wait until July 31 if you do not want to pay extra.
There is more than just a forgiveness option, of course. Ubisoft adds two player-versus-player cards, and it reorganizes its Prestige economy to allow you to earn credits in the regular campaign (not just Ghost War) and spend it on Prestige packs that include customization. You'll also find an eSport and stream-friendly watch mode to watch custom games, a new victory screen for you to celebrate your triumphs and a True Solo mode that disables AI teammates.
Ubisoft still keeps some details close to the jacket (like player-versus-environment missions, new themes and new classes). However, it is evident that the developer follows a strategy like that which maintains Rainbow Six: Siege : it treats Wildlands as an ever increasing service, rather than a fact release.
