Google plans to launch a new feature that will allow users to leave in the search results comments that could be seen by others.
Although the feature is not yet available, an official Google help document has described its operation, the Search Engine Journal reported Saturday.
The feature will bring Google Search some features commonly found on social media platforms. Users will not only be able to read comments left by other people, but will also be able to "like" or "dislike" their comments in Google's search results.
It could also allow users to add comments to live sports games.
However, comments will be subject to Google's policies for user-posted content on the search site.
"Comments that do not follow the rules may not be displayed," said Google's help document.
"Your comments are public, so everyone can see what you're writing, and the name of your About Me page displays with your comments, and you can not add anonymous comments," he added.
This means that it is impossible to leave comments on the results of the search without logging in.
Users will also be able to delete their comments.
