Google changes the name of AR stickers in Playground and adds new animations

Google today announced a new visual identity for its augmented reality stickers. Originally announced last fall under the name of AR Stickers, these virtual animations resembled the lenses and filters popularized by Snapchat a few years ago. But one essential difference is that they are entirely in 3D and are deployed with a much smarter sense of spatial recognition and object recognition, thanks to Google's advances in artificial intelligence.
