Google Home finally has the ability to speak Spanish. Although Spanish was available as part of Google Assistant for quite some time now, for some reason it was not available via Home, Home Mini or Home Max. Spanish support started quietly two weeks ago and Google officially announces the feature.

Three localized versions of Spanish are available: one for Spain, Mexico and the United States. The Home and Home Mini was launched in Spain last week (where, obviously, Spanish support was available from the beginning), and Google is also bringing these devices to Mexico as early as today.

If you already have a Google Home account and want to edit it in Spanish, you can do this by going to the wizard settings on your phone, selecting your smart speaker from the "Devices" menu, and selecting "Assistant language".

From here the end of the year 201, Google has announced the addition of 22 new languages to the wizard, although it is not clear how many between they will come immediately to the House. The company also plans to launch multilingual support so that you can speak multiple languages to Assistant without going into the settings and edit it each time. This should start later this year, starting with English, German and French.
