Google Launches Mail Repair Center for Damaged Pixels Phones

If your Pixel phone suddenly stops working for no apparent reason or if it's damaged, you can send it directly to the Google Repair Center to repair it.

Google has launched the new service through Google Store to give US owners of its Pixel phones (Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL and future models) another option when it comes to sorting the broken handset, whether or not under warranty.

To get started, simply go to the center's website, open a ticket, and enter the unique IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number on your phone. You can find the IMEI number by typing * # 06 # or by going to Settings, System, About Phone and SIM Status. If you have a problem displaying or if the phone seems to be dead, you can find the IMEI number by removing the SIM card and looking in the drawer provided for this purpose.

Once you have entered the number, you will be asked to choose from a list of phone problems so Google can estimate the cost of repairs (if they are not under warranty) and technicians know exactly what they are for. when the phone arrives at the workshop.

You can send your Pixel handset by packing it yourself or wait a few days for the package pre-paid by Google.

Note, however, that before sending your phone, Google insists that you must first back up your device, reset it to the factory settings, and then remove the SIM card.

Google indicates that it will need 7 to 10 business days to repair your phone. Take other measures if you think that not to do without you during this period gives you cold sweats.

You will find complete information about the new Google repair center mailed here. You can also start the process immediately by accessing this page.

Other repair options include a visit to your home by a Google authorized Puls technician, or by bringing your defective phone to the uBreakiFix store. If you are not in an area served by one of these services, the new Google Repair Center is your best choice.
