A new Google tool that aims to help Android users to control their screen time is now out of the beta.

Digital Wellbeing is available for Pixel phone users and owners of Android One devices with Android 9 Pie. The news was reported Tuesday by 9to5Google.

Google released Digital Wellbeing to Pixel users in August as part of an exclusive beta release. This tool allows you to monitor the time you spend on your phone with a daily overview. A chart on the dashboard shows how often you use different apps. You can also see how many times you unlock your phone and how many notifications you receive, Google said in an August blog post.

The application timers allow you to limit the time you spend using certain applications, and the Minimize feature puts your phone in Do Not Disturb mode so that your screen goes into grayscale around the time of day. sleep. You can also activate Do Not Disturb mode when you are dining or talking to friends.

Google is not the only technology company to add screen time controls. Apple unveiled features in June that allow users to monitor the time spent on their device and their apps. On Tuesday, Facebook launched a feature called Your Time on Facebook, which shows how much time you spend on the social network.
