Google Lens now works with mobile image searches

According to a recent announcement by the company, Google is expanding its functionality of artificial intelligence lenses to Google Images on mobile in the United States. Specifically, the feature comes for users who perform a search for images via the mobile web on the Google home page. Once an image is selected, the Google Lens icon will appear just below, next to sharing icons, favorites and three-point menus. If pressed, the function will be launched with a short animation showing users how to select objects and white dots highlighting parts of the image for those with multiple subjects. This should also improve over time and as artificial intelligence identifies things better, but shopping is one of the activities highlighted by Google. For example, a user can search for trade show images either by looking for inspiration to redecorate it, or simply for the latest trends.
