Google is expected to launch the new Pixel 3 series phones in less than a month. On October 9, the tech giant will unveil Pixel and Pixel XL this year. We already know that they'll call Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL after all the speculation and leaks available and released in recent weeks. As early as April, we heard this idea because the Google Pixel 3 was broadcast in an Open Source Android Project (AOSP).
The third generation Pixel will always have an XL variant depending on some details that revealed what we want to see. The AOSP did not give much, except that the company started developing the device, but as always, information is being sent around the world, just weeks before the official announcement of the market.
The Android community was told that Google Pixel 3 would make us drool or confuse or both, but we do not really know how, but we think there will be mid-range and premium models. Yes, the mid-range Google Pixel still counts. This is what people can afford in most markets.
Android has long been waiting for standard face recognition support and good thing Android Pie has it. This means that Pixel 3 will have it too.
Choose the size of your Pixel 3 or 3XL screens. The leak of Pixel 3 XL reveals that the biggest phone will have a notch. It's real and big and its back will be fully glazed.
More features of Pixel 3 have been reported: Active Edge, wireless charging, improved facial recognition and the idea that the phone will be manufactured by Foxconn and not by HTC. Pixel renderings 3 and 3 XL also appeared with the notch and the cameras. Meanwhile, wireless charging that has been removed from the Nexus 5X and 6P may be back by reference in Google's beta version of a Wireless Pixel Stand.
The Pixel 3 XL would be available in white and heavy on the chin. It was also previewed on a new technology reference site.
The launch date of Pixel 3 will be October 9, not the traditional October 4th. A Google Pixel 3 XL debugging video was also released last month, and another video shows a big screen notched.
Rumor has it that Google Pixel 3 XL cameras will be updated with Visual Core and Super Selfies. The Pixel 3 can also have two selfie cameras.
We can expect more information before the event "Made by Google" in New York. A new Pixelbook aka Pixelbook Nocturne with removable keyboard can also be unveiled during the event. Do not expect a Pixel watch.
To see again, here are the Pixel 3 specifications we know so far: a 5.5 inch screen, a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, two 8 megapixel selfie cameras, a rear fingerprint sensor, a frequency of 60 Hz images, a partial glass panel and a single rear cam. It will not have a notch because only the Pixel 3 XL will do it.
Google has just released a teaser image online, showing a device with thin and green glasses. It is possible that the Pixel 3 / 3XL came out in black, white and mint green. A Google Store page has a large "3" in the center, which we think refers to Pixel 3.
TIP: Press the "G" logo HERE and you will see the screen change color.
