Chrome OS is not the only operating system of Google's future Pixel Slate tablet. According to one commit spotted by 9to5Google, the tablet can also support Windows 10.
The company is apparently testing Microsoft's operating system on a device dubbed "Nocturne", which according to 9To5Google is the next Slate Pixel.
It would not be a surprise, because Google is also working on the realization of the Windows 10 dual-boot Pixelbook. According to some rumors, other Chromebooks would be about to upgrade to Windows 10, although only the Pixelbook is confirmed.

the new Pixel Slate can be designed in the same way as Microsoft Surface Pro, with a magnetic connector that makes it easy to attach and detach compatible keyboards (whether it comes with a keyboard or not). The compatibility with Windows 10 would certainly make the tablet a more formidable competitor of the Surface range of Microsoft.
