Google Pixel Slate shipping early for accelerated orders

It seems that Google can not yet decide when its Pixel Slate will begin to be marketed, leaving the future enthusiastic owners on the edge of their seats. Announced at the beginning of October, the 2-in-1 version of Chrome OS should be released before the end of the year. Pre-orders then started early with some retailers reporting mid-November dates. And then the Google Store has wiped out a hope with a December calendar. Now, however, it seems that the Pixel Slate will begin arriving in a few days, at least for those who have paid extra to be a little early.

The Google Pixel Slate is remarkable for what it represents. This is, for all practical purposes, what Google envisions as a mobile productivity device, namely a "professional tablet". At its Pixel event last month, Google clearly opposed Pixel Slate to that of Apple iPad Pro and placed it in the same league, or even above Microsoft Surface Pro tablets. It's the tablet that lets you get things done, says the company.

It also represents the evolution of Chromebooks, or more accurately Chrome OS devices. No longer limited to the form factors of laptops, even convertible, Pixel Slate official makes a more tactile and more chrome OS. A Chrome operating system that encompasses all types of interaction and even operating systems almost used by Google.

Its price does not seem to have deterred interested buyers, with the Intel Core m3 model from $ 799 (all that follows uses a simple Celeron). In fact, some even added $ 23 more for expedited shipping. And now, they reap the benefits of this investment, being told that they should receive theirs in a few days.

What is not yet certain is that this new schedule also increases the dates of regular orders. If expedited shipping was initially scheduled for the first week of December, normal orders would also arrive earlier than expected in mid-December.
