the Google PixelbookI'm pretty sure everyone should buy a computer if you could get rid of their negative ideas about paying $ 1,000 for a Chromebook.
The starting price for the Google Pixelbook is now $ 699, which includes an Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. If you want to double the storage capacity to 256GB, while maintaining the same Core i5 and 8GB RAM, you go to $ 899. And if you want a full Pixelbook with Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, you're looking for $ 1,349. I do not know why you would need this version, but it is cheap.
How is the Pixelbook so good? It just works flawlessly. ChromeOS is no longer a "simple browser operating system" or any complaint that people have already filed about it. It runs Android applications, works more and more like a traditional computer, folds into a tablet, has a solid battery, allows you to quickly access Google Assistant, has a built-in amazing touch screen, receives updates constantly, and looks great.
But perhaps more importantly, Chromebooks like this one just do not slow down. My wife and I used the first two Chromebook Pixel devices from Google for years and we never had a problem. She is now working full time on a Pixelbook for running a new business and doing everything she needs.
What's a Pixelbook does not do? Video montage. If you need to do some heavy-duty tasks in the video editing service (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.), you will not find it here. All Android video editing applications are 100% trash no matter what you are told. And yes, I tried them all. Other than that, the Pixelbook does it all.
$ 300 off is a good, good deal.
