Since Google bought Waze, we are waiting for some of its most popular features to make their way into Google Maps. Just a few months ago, an APK demon revealed that Google was preparing to add incident reports to Google Maps. Now, this feature seems to appear for at least some users of Maps.

At least one person on Reddit has noticed this feature in addition to our informant, but this feature probably only appears for a small number of users. Take a look at the Google Maps interface on your next navigation. A new report button may appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap to tell Google that you've encountered a crash or speed trap (see above). Currently, this only works in navigation mode, but this is only a test.

Since most users do not have the reporting feature, it is unlikely that you will benefit from it at this time. If Google decides to offer this solution to everyone, Maps may be able to warn you when approaching a speed trap or guiding you more effectively in accidents.
