Google is testing an update for Chrome, which could introduce an Explore interface. According to several reports, the Google Chrome app for Android could display a layout similar to that of Google Assistant, also available for the latest version of its browser. This feature can be found in the beta version of Google Chrome or in the canary version of Chrome.
As part of the redesign, users will be able to access their favorite tabs, as well as bookmarks, manuals and taps. In addition, users can choose between news, weather, travel options and local services, like other browsers. Currently, the feature displays reserved sites, meeting many requirements, in which those who navigate in Chrome can choose from different categories using the Explorer user interface. As there are no official words about testing this feature, it's unclear if Google wants to introduce it into the classic Chrome browser for Android.
To enable the Explore UI, Chrome users need to access chrome: // flags, then search for "explore". After spotting the "Explored Sites" flag, you will need to switch the flag to activate the new user interface. This experience also seems to be available on all Android versions supporting the latest Chrome app.

Recently, the company owned by Alphabet had announced the removal of Google Chrome support from more than 32 million devices. These devices used different versions of Android Jellybean, from Jellybean v4.1 to Jellybean v4.3. Rumors indicate that Google also seems to test the notification functionality of its browser, which could allow users to respond to discussions.
