Google travel apps without which you have not lived – Quartz

If you have a smartphone, you probably have at least one Google app on your phone. Until this summer, Android phones were preloaded with integrated Google applications such as YouTube, Google Maps and Gmail, which are also among the most popular of Apple's App Store.

What you may not know is that Google offers dozens of other lesser known apps. If you're thinking of traveling during the holiday season, here are some that might be useful when you're traveling.

Google Trips

Give this app access to your Google Account. It will show the dates of your next trips based on your Gmail account. messages and calendar entries. If you click on a trip, it will show you all your flights and hotel bookings, nearby places you have marked on Google Maps and information on attractions, restaurants and transport. It is also possible to download all this information to access even offline, which is perfect for places where reception is irregular or international travel. If you can understand how Google has always been aware of your projects, the app is a great way to make sure all the details of your trip are in one place.

Google Rewards

If you want to share your opinions (and some basic personal information) against Google Play credits, the rewards can be a boon to you. Market research partners with Google to create short surveys that allow each to pay a dollar credit up to one dollar. Application users ping when surveys are available and many surveys are related to your location. For example, the app may ask you to review your stay at the hotel.

Android Auto

There is no safe way to use a phone while driving, but if you need it, this app simplifies your phone's interface for flawless, hands-free operation. If you're driving this holiday season, you can have your phone call you to your next destination, make a call, or ask for streaming music.

Google Arts and culture

Scrolling through this application is like browsing exhibitions in a virtual museum: you can explore famous works of art, national parks and other cultural attractions. Current features of Google include profiles of women who worked on NASA's Space Shuttle Discovery, an inside view of the British Library's exhibition on the Harry Potter series, and a guide to Introduction to hieroglyphic writing Maya. Or if you prefer to explore in person, the app also displays museums and exhibitions close to you.
