If black is excessive for your needs, it is clearer what you will get when you quit. The Hero 7 Silver does not have HyperSmooth video or 60 FPS 4K (only 30 FPS), but it still offers better video stabilization and features like voice control and vertical video. The entry-level model, the Hero 7 White, has the same features as the Silver with 1080p60 images.
It is not certain that this will help GoPro to regain his fortune. However, they are at the heart of the action that camera users typically want: stable and beautiful videos that they can easily share with others.
