Over the weekend, an Amazon.com listing for Halo 5: Guardians for the Xbox One has been changed from "only on Xbox One" to "exclusive Xbox One". This suggests that its publisher Microsoft Studios could consider introducing Halo 5: Guardians on PC, which would perfectly match the new label.
Microsoft began using the "exclusive Xbox One console" after the introduction of the Xbox Play Anywhere cross-platform purchase program in September 2016. (Halo 5: Guardians was released in October 2015.) It allows Windows 10 players to enjoy Xbox One titles. console. Beyond that, four titles derived from Halo are available on PC via the Microsoft store: Halo Wars, Halo Wars 2, Halo: Spartan Assault and Halo: Spartan Strike. The next game under development, Halo Infinite, will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
