The Nike + version of the latest Apple Watch was launched a few weeks after the other models, but we now have to check it to see what sets it apart from standard aluminum.
Apple Watch Series 4 Nike + anthracite / black
Unlike other models, where aluminum and stainless steel are supplied in a package and white boxes, the Nike + edition is wrapped in black paper with black boxes.
The watch comes with the usual 5W wall adapter and a fully plastic magnetic charge washer, identical to the standard aluminum version.
There are some distinct differences between the Nike + version and the others.
Apple Watch Series 4 Nike + Exclusive Face
First, two exclusive watch dials have been updated with new colors to support the latest Apple Sports Band and Sport Loop colors. There is an analog and digital option, both having a non removable Nike + logo to directly access the Nike + Run Club app.
Apple + Series 4 Nike + Ceramic Back
On the ceramic back, an etching design refers to a special Nike + edition of the 4-series. In addition, there are exclusive band options, including a new reflective tape, as well as styles that can be combined.
Otherwise, the Nike + version is the same as the others, including the cost. There are 40mm and 44mm sizes, as well as GPS + Wi-Fi or cellular configurations.
If you have not already done so, check out our article on the Apple Watch Series 4 to see what to expect with the Nike + version.
Or buy
Apple Watch Series 4 Nike +
Nike is currently accepting orders for Nike + Series 4 devices, with delivery expected within two to four business days.
Apple Authorized Resellers, B & H Photo and Abt.com, also accept orders for the Apple Watch Series 4 Nike +. Abt.com is currently reporting a delay of two to four weeks. The disadvantage is the absence of sales tax levied in most states. B & H collects sales tax in New York and New Jersey and Abt.com sales tax in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin (see details here).
