There are only a few hours left before November. Sony will have a little delay with the announcement of free PlayStation Plus games next month.

Indeed, the maker of the PlayStation 4 still announces the free games of the month following the last Wednesday of the month, then publishes them on PS + the following Wednesday.

Like Halloween, the last day of October falls on a Wednesday, which means we have had to wait a little longer than usual to find out. The games on this list will be available from November 7th.

(That being said, these games were released earlier this month, so we've been aware for quite some time – we were not sure they would change at the time of the official announcement. .)

There are some very good free PS4 titles for PS + subscribers next month. However, I have not played any PS3 or PS Vita games.

Here are all free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in November 2018:

PS4

  • Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition (75% on Metacritic)
  • Yakuza Kiwami (80% on metacritic)

PS3

  • Jackbox Party Pack 2
  • Arkedo Series

PlayStation Vita

  • Burly Men At Sea, PS Vita (cross purchase with PS4)
  • Carousel, PS Vita (cross purchase with PS4)

Bulletstorm: Complete Clip Edition is an HD remake of the original Bulletstorm and the first time I played the game. I was surprisingly impressed by the flaming bullet thrower. It's a real kick, if you know what I mean. I appreciate its brand of extravagant foolishness and it's just fun. Certainly download this one if you do not have it already.

Yakuza Kiwami is also an HD remake, of the original Yakuza Game. And man, this series really calls my name, but it continues to be part of my list of choices, taking up space in the ever-increasing order book. I know a lot of people really love this series and that's the one in which I intend to enter at some point. I have only played a little of it until now, but I really enjoyed diving into Japanese organized crime.

As for the rest, since PS3 titles are not backward compatible (Microsoft's free Xbox 360 games are always backward compatible with Xbox One), I see very little reason to spend a lot of time on them. Sony will gradually abandon its non-PS4 games (both PS3 and Vita) in March 2019, and they already feel like an afterthought at this point.

It's really a shame for the Vita. Hoping that Sony will be able to present a mobile gaming solution with the PS5, which may look like the Switch, but is much more powerful.

In any case, check the links below for other free games:
